在我心目中的外婆

In general, 外婆 is a quite & low-profile person - with very few words to say. Very often, she will just sit at a corner, watch & observe. By nature, she is a sincere & friendly person once she is approached by others, and that is when she reveal her sharp tougue>:)

In her growing up years in China, she has been working in farms e.g. paddy fields, vegetables plantation & etc as she comes from a poor family. She had been through the hard days - working under the hot sun, both legs soaked in muddy soil, both hands are weared off by repetitive contact with rough working tools. But she did not complain a word as she realized that she is lucky to 有瓦遮头 & 三餐溫飽 as to compare to others less fortunate ones.
